ghd platinum SLEEK & STRAIGHT

Super sophisticated, this look is easy to create and will give you sleek, straight hair with no fly-aways, all night. Perfect paired with either a structured blazer, or a softer silhouette.

1: Apply ghd straight and smooth spray to towel dried hair and using a paddle brush and ghd air hairdryer, blow-dry hair with the nozzle pointing down the hair shaft to smooth down

2: Apply ghd heat protect spray evenly to hair and comb through using a wide-tooth comb

3: Section the top half of your hair on the top of your head. Starting at the bottom take sections, approximately 4cm wide, and use the ghd platinum starting right at your roots to straighten your hair, twisting the styler in towards your face at the ends to provide the slightest curve for flattering face-shaping. Repeat for the top half of your hair

4: Using the ghd oval dressing brush you can smooth any fly-aways through the top, this will also keep your mid-lengths and ends sleek and smooth

5: Finish using a light spray of ghd final fix hairspray and a touch of ghd smooth and finish serum in the mid-lengths and ends

LADIES LUNCH

This time of the year is a great time for long lunches with the girls. It's always something I look forward to.. great wine, food, outfits and great company!

On the weekend I caught up with some of my close friends for a long lunch at Prego in the sun.

I feel like a pair of sunglasses can really make an outfit, and are always a core part of my summer fashion choices.

My new Miu Miu Noir shades from Sunglass Hut are perfect; something a littler dressier than your normal pair of sunglasses.

I love that my outfit can be slightly casual with my hair relaxed and effortless, but by adding the sunglasses I instantly feel a little more dressed up.

I am collaborating with Sunglass Hut on their new #ELECTRIFYSUMMER campaign, so will be bringing you some more outfit inspiration over the next few weeks. Keep an eye out on here and on my Instagram.

ghd curve - classic wave wand - MODERN WAVES

These loose modern waves are really easy to achieve using the ghd curve classic wave wand. A contemporary look for day or night, this look complements most outfits, casual or chic.

1: Apply ghd total volume foam to towel dried, freshly washed hair. Blow dry hair using ghd air hairdryer and a rounded barrel brush. Spray ghd curl hold spray through your hair. (This includes heat protect in its formula, so no need for both!)

2: Sectioning off the top of your hair, start at the bottom and take medium sized sections (approximately 3-4cm). Holding the ghd curve classic wave wand, with the barrel facing down, carefully wrap your hair around the barrel away from your face, beginning at the top and working to the bottom.

3: Hold the hair in place on the barrel for around 8-10 seconds. When you let your hair go, a handy tip is to hold the curl up towards your head, in your hand for a few seconds to let it cool and keep its shape.

4: Once the curls have cooled, gently run the ghd oval dressing brush through the hair to create a soft, loose wave.

5: For a little extra volume, backcomb the roots and mid-lengths of your hair. Finally, finish with ghd final fix spray to set the curls and a little ghd final shine spray for extra shine.

ELECTRIFY SUMMER

When it comes to summer outfits I always make sure my sunglasses work with what I wear. There are pairs for the beach, active wear, fashion pieces and of course the simple classic pair, the pair that will go with any outfit and even dress it up a little.

I found the perfect pair for this season! I am totally in love with my new pair of Miu Miu sunglasses, which I got from Sunglass Hut last week.

I love the cat eye shape, the chic black style and the fine touches of gold, which by throwing on can dress up any outift. What I love about this shape is it looks great with your hair up or down. Perfect for a long lunch with the girls!

ghd platinum MODERN BALLERINA BUN

Stylish and sophisticated, this loose up-do is a modern twist on the classic ballerina bun. Great for slightly dressier events, pair this do with a beautiful gown and either statement earrings or a necklace. This hair style looks great with slightly more dramatic make-up looks too, like a bold lip.

So get creative and get your glam on!

1: This look is best created on hair the day after washing. Apply ghd root lift spray to the roots of the hair before blow-drying using the ghd air hairdryer

2: On dry hair, back-comb around the face and at the crown, then lightly brush out with the ghd oval dressing brush

3: Take the top section of your hair and gently pull your hair away from your face, but keep it a little bit loose

4: Then take the bottom section and spilt in two. Smooth out your ends with the ghd platinum styler, then wrap the sections around into a bun and clip into place using hair pins. Make sure the ends are tucked under, then pull out a few fine pieces around the neckline

5: Using your comb, secure the top section of your hair with the bottom using medium sized hair pins. You can adjust this to add the height you desire at the crown. Finish with ghd final fix hairspray

ghd platinum BEACHY WAVES

The first look of the five festive season hair looks with ghd is beachy waves, created with the ghd platinum styler.

This look speaks for itself really; beautiful, beachy, textured waves with volume - perfect for summer beachy days-turned afternoon BBQs.

1: This look is best created on hair the day after washing. Apply ghd root lift spray to the roots of the hair before blow-drying using the ghd air hairdryer

2: Apply ghd heat protect spray to dry hair. Create four sections using sectioning clips and begin at the bottom of your head

3: Taking an approximately one-inch thick section of your hair at a time, hold the ghd platinum styler vertically at the top section of your hair, closest to your head, and twist 180 degrees away from your face as you pull it down through the section

4: Once all sections are complete, use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to gently break up the waves, adding more volume

5: Finish by gently patting ghd smooth and finish serum into the ends of the hair and spray ghd final fix hairspray to keep the style in place and create a little added texture

ghd LIMITED EDITION ARCTIC GOLD COLLECTION

The last few weeks of the year are always super busy with so many events, parties, Christmas functions and general catch-ups with friends and family. Figuring out what to wear each time can be a bit of a challenge.

To help make the season a little easier, I've teamed up with ghd and REMIX magazine to bring you five of my favourite festive hair looks, including instructions on how to create them. They will take you from day to night without fuss, so all you'll need to worry about is making sure your party-dresses are pressed, and your dancing shoes are ready!

In five easy steps you can achieve each look using using the gorgeous tools from the new, limited edition ghd arctic gold collection. The ghd platinum styler, the ghd curve creative curl wand and classic wave wand, each come with a warm white and arctic gold roll bag.

My favourite tool has got to be the ghd platinum styler, featuring patented tri-zone technology which means less breakage, increased shine and two times the colour integrity compared to other stylers. The ghd platinum helps deliver the best styling results without compromising the health of your hair. You can curl or straighten to your heart's content!

If you're thinking ghd this Christmas, think ghd platinum and don't forget to #hintghd! Check out REMIX's site for your chance to win your own ghd platinum too.

GIAMBATTISTA VALLI

Anna Wintour once said, "To change your wardrobe with just $20, go out and pick a brand new lipstick" I love this, sometimes when your clothes are feeling boring a bright lipstick can change the whole look.

Giambattista Valli is an Italian Fashion Designer. He is known for his dramatic dresses, famine designs and floral embellishments. M.A.C has created five beautiful lipsticks which have been inspired by his dresses. There are five full coverage matte lipsticks and one potted lip gloss which turns the lipsticks into high shine.

Available in stores September 7th.

A MODERN BUN

The low bun has always been my go to for an easy day to day hairstyle. I always like to mix things up by knotting or twisting the hair into a bun and leaving a little hair around the face to add softness. Great for a day at work or a night out, here are some examples of what I love.

KNOTTED SHIRT

This is a classic look. A crisp white boyfriend style shirt paired with jeans heels and a great bag, it's a look that can take you from day to night. What I love about this Maurie and Eve shirt is the knotted tie at the bottom. It's all the the little details that bring an outfit together.

Shirt: Maure & Eve, Jeans: Zoe Karssen, Shoes: Tony Bianco, Bag: Chloe, Wrist Scarf: Asos Earings: Witchery.

MID WINTER

The middle of Winter is always a struggle and when it comes to hair and fashion. Things can get boring. A lot of women tend to think you need to make your hair colour darker, I don't necessarily agree with this. While its always good to add depth, I also think its great to go lighter with your colour to brighten you up, especially around the face.

For example blondes need creamy tones, there is nothing worse than a dull blonde in winter. Here are some examples of great winter blondes which will also see you through to Spring.
